Hello All,

Welcome to the latest update for events occurring at the SF Discussion Group. As many of you know, jan has left for his walkabout around the country. In his absence, i will attempt to keep you apprised of our activities.

News Flash: Jane Yolen and Mark Teague will be signing their new book in the Capital District on Saturday, 5 April 2003. They will be at the Open Door in Schenectady from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and then at the Book Nook from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

On Wednesday, 12 March 2003 we met at 7:00 PM over at Flights for a general discussion on Science Fiction and our current reading selections. Several threads were spawned from the best to the worst reads.

On Wednesday, 9 April 2003 we will once again welcome Julie Czerneda. Julie will be discussing her new book Hidden in Sight. We will meet at Flights for a signing/reading/discussion at 7:00 PM.

On Thursday, 10 April 2003 we will welcome back Walter H. Hunt for a special signing event. Walter will be discussing his books. Fans are invited to participate in a discussion and update on how his novel The Dark Path was received. We will meet at Flights for a signing/reading/discussion at 7:00 PM.

At 2:00pm on Sunday, 11 May 2003 the ALBACON concom will hold its May meeting at the home of Christopher Ford, 310 Locust Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010; 518-842-7657; fcs@firstduty.com. Everyone is welcome. For directions, if needed, please call or email Chris.
