Dear Gentle Being, 6 February 2004

Welcome to the latest update for events occurring at the SF Discussion Group. We have lots of news.

On Wednesday, 10 December 2003 LASTSFA and Flights of Fantasy welcomed Paul Levinson, who joined us for dinner & a discussion & reading from his new work. Good food, good company & great conversation summed up the evening.

Are you a Tolkien fan? The Fellowship of the Ring gathered on Sunday, 21 September 2003. What a fine day it was for a birthday party, including seed-cakes. J Care to read with us? It is a lot of fun & a great way to read the books. Please contact me: Thain Peregrin II aka The Wombat; 518-456-5242 or wombat@sff.net . I hope to see some of you on coming Sundays. The next gathering will be on 8 February at 1:51 PM/1351 at Pippin's homely house.

On Sunday, 8 February 2004 The Fellowship of the Ring continues with The Lord of the Rings. Pippin's home.

When the Information Superhighway slows to a crawl or stops, you are experiencing "BYTELOCK!" I coined BYTELOCK on 17 July 1997. Please use BYTELOCK but DO cite the source. I would like to get into the dictionary.
