On Wednesday, 12 May 2004 at 7:00 PM. we had a nice chat & met a new LASTSFA member over at Flights of Fantasy.
On Wednesday, 9 June 2004 LASTSFA and Flights of Fantasy presented an evening with Sarah Micklem at FoF. Sarah read from Firethorn. We had a loverly dinner & chat with the author followed by the reading & signing at FoF.
On Tuesday, 22 June 2004 LASTSFA and Flights of Fantasy presented an evening with Julie Czerneda at FoF. Julie read from her latest work. We had a loverly dinner & chat with the author followed by the reading & signing at FoF.
On Wednesday, 14 July 2004 at 7:00 PM. we will get together over at Flights of Fantasy to discuss Science Fiction. [I'll be off to the West coast. 1st for WESTERCON where I'll be doing a "show & tell" on my tour of Middle-earth. Then off to Comic-con, where I have this dream of meeting some folk involved with TLOTR. I can dream. J ]

when TROTK shows at Proctors. They are showing all three films with the 1st two being the extended versions. The fun begins 29 July! For the nutters, you can see all of them on Saturday, 31 July, beginning at 0930! MY choice! I'm bringing a sandwich. J The first 2 films will have intermissions. The tickets are on sale NOW! They are expecting them to go quickly.**********On Sunday, August 1, 2004 until Sunday, October 24, 2004, the Museum of Science,
www.mos.org/lotr , Boston, will host "The Lord of the Rings Motion Picture Trilogy - Exhibition." The link is for the LOTR exhibit that is touring across the world. It originated in the Te Papa museum, went to London and is now in Singapore. It will be in the USA (Boston, MA) for a few months before visiting our friends inSydney, Australia. *****
Mid-August [Date TBA] LASTSFA and Flights of Fantasy will present an evening with Chris Moriarty at FoF. Chris will read from her works. For those interested, please join us for dinner with the Chris at 4:51 p.m. at FoF returning by 7:00 p.m. for the event. Chris has been nominated for the John Campbell Award.
