Who are we?
LASTSFA is dedicated to promoting Science, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mythology, and Literacy in the Capital District region of New York State. We do this through our annual convention, our discussion groups, signings, and other events that we sponsor throughout the year. Come join us and network with others who share a love of the genre.

Albacon 2011 has been cancelled.

For multiple reasons, the Albacon 2011 convention has been cancelled. The Albacon Committee and LASTSFA apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. A letter from the President of LASTSFA is available on the Albacon website. Paid registrations that we have in-hand will either be returned or transferred to 2012 as per the registrant's preference. Albacon 2012 is still on schedule and we hope you will join us for it.
Dues
- Full Membership ($10.00): Help support the club and sponsor our activities. This is an easy and affordable way to contribute to the local culture. Join now!
- Family Membership ($25.00): Our activities are a great way for families to get out and enjoy themselves. Take advantage of the available educational opportunities. We realize that families need to save where they can. Enjoy this special rate and save. Note: For the purpose of this membership, a family is defined as parents (or legal guardians) and children living at the same address.
- Student Membership ($5.00): With the rising costs of education, we realize that students need to save where they can. Students can enjoy this special rate and still support the activities they enjoy.
